The Maze

Personal News

Justin got to spend his spring break with us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. Unfortunately, the rest of us had work or school while he was home. We still enjoyed the evenings with him playing games, etc. As I write this, our 20 year old car has been in the shop for 2 days. Please continue to pray for us as we seek to find a good deal on a replacement car.

Ministry Update

The Maze:

mazeJim Munroe is also known as the Maze. After a promising career in baseball ended in disappointment, Munroe turned his mind towards investigating various philosophies and beliefs. This investigation into the unknown and the supernatural also manifested itself in another pursuit: Magic.

Munroe loved magic. It blended perfectly with his belief that God existed in smoke and mirrors alone. However, the further he investigated Jesus, the more convinced he became of the unique claims of Christianity.  Just as his magic career was taking off, Munroe found himself following Christ as his teacher. By 2009, Munroe had become one of the most sought after magicians in the world.

mazeThe Lord has used the Maze to reach students with the gospel all over the country. Here is what happened when he was in the Minneapolis area with our high school Cru team recently.

“Praise the Lord for the 68 first time decisions for Christ last night at the Maze at Centennial High School! God answered so many prayers! They let Jim go on campus during lunch, he spoke to the track and tennis teams before practice and despite the girls state basketball tournament, we had over 400 people come!

God used Jim Munroe and the Maze in amazing ways at Anoka High school also. 164 first time decisions and 24 re-dedicated their lives to Christ. God is awesome!  So thankful for All that God did!”
