Ministry Trips

Personal News

Grandpa Jim and Jeremy This has been an exciting month in the Meritt household with sports, travel and schoolwork. Thankfully, Jamie’s foot healed in only two weeks and she is back to full speed at the gym. We have also welcomed Dave’s dad for his annual winter visit. He will be here until late January or early February.

Ministry Update

Houston MinistryDuring the first week of November, Lynn was in Houston, Texas for the New Leader’s Conference for our new Cru, high school staff and interns. Lynn oversaw the design team for this event and was thrilled with how it went. The teaching sessions and time on campus were all that she could have hoped for. A number of students came to know the Lord as Savior during our time there. It was so exciting to interact with the new leaders the Lord is raising up around the country.

DaveAbout four days after Lynn arrived home from Houston, Dave got on a plane to Dallas. He joined several hundred youth leaders from a number of different ministries and churches for the Accelerate conference. The goal of their time was to focus on the next steps to see every student in the US have the opportunity to trust Christ. Dave gave a presentation to the group on the current status of campus adoptions and focused on areas and cities yet to be reached.

Thanks for your prayers and support that enable us to reach this generation.
