family Easter PicturePersonal News

I hope you all enjoyed celebrating our risen Savior on Easter Sunday. Our Easter celebration was a little different this year for a couple of reasons. First, it was Justin’s birthday, so we had our traditional Easter dinner on Saturday. In addition to celebrating Justin’s birthday on Easter, we also helped deliver over 150 Easter baskets for needy children. It was a great way for our family to give back on Easter. Some of you have been asking if Justin has made a decision about next year. He is going to attend Florida State University. Go Seminoles!

Ministry Update

Right before Easter, the Houston team had a special Easter outreach. They purchased 200 tickets to show the “God’s Not Dead” film. Students invited their non-Christian friends. After the show, some of the high school students shared their testimonies and the gospel with those who watched the film. Here is what happened …

God's not DeadWe are so grateful for the teenager who brought their friends to our Cru “God’s Not Dead” movie outreach in Houston tonight to enjoy a powerful movie and hear the Gospel shared by fellow peers. More than 200 students came out and 63 indicated they had made a decision for Christ! Please pray for the follow-up, and that these students will rejoice now, with the realization that God’s not Dead and He’s now living in their hearts. Praise God”

Thanks for letting us be involved in helping lead. You are making a difference in students’ lives.

Prayer Requests

  • Please pray that all the celebrations surrounding Justin’s graduation are an encouragement and blessing for him.
  • We praise God for all the students who have come to Christ this spring. Pray that they would continue to grow in their faith this summer.
  • Please for us to finish the ministry year strong. There are a number of projects that both of us are hoping to get done before the end of the school year.
