Personal News

Jamie playing soccerThanks for your prayers for our family. We have seen God move in several situations this past month. We have also found an answer to what has kept Jamie from learning to read as she should. This last month she was diagnosed with dyslexia. Please pray for wisdom as we determine which programs we should use with her. We covet your continued prayers for our family.

Ministry Update

Icon GospelThe Icon/image project (sharing the Gospel using images) that we mentioned last month has been released to be beta tested oversees. It will be interesting to hear what the people in Japan and China think about these images. Please pray that this tool might help students and volunteers initiate spiritual conversations  with students. We will soon start testing it here in the USA.

We are praising God this month as the totals are in for last school years’ ministry. Cru High School (Formally Student Venture) saw over 50,770 exposures to the Gospel with 8,823 indicated decisions for Christ.

JR OutreachThis fall our staff have been busy reaching students for Christ and starting small group bible studies.  Just last week Glen Nielsen shared Christ with the JV Lake Nona football team here in Orlando and 19 prayed to receive Christ! Please pray for the follow-up for these JV football guys. This is one example of many of what has been happening as our staff and volunteers are reaching students.  It has been an exciting fall observing what God is doing.

Thanks for making a difference in the lives of students.

Dave and Lynn

Prayer Requests:

  • Please pray for the follow up of all the JV football guys at Lake Nona HS – as well as hundreds of others around the country who have heard the gospel this fall.
  • Pray for all us that we would keep our focus on Jesus as we trust God to use us to help reach students here in the US and around the world.
